About

We're all about Aire Wharfe, Bradford and East Lancashire

”To promote active community involvement in regeneration and social inclusion and to enhance diversity and quality through use of community radio as a tool for cohesion, expression and skills development.”

Founded by David Adams in 1998, and on air since 2009, Drystone Radio is a not-for-profit community radio station providing media access to local news, issues and interests.

Community radio has a unique place in the UK, giving people within communities a voice whilst providing exciting and diverse radio. Community radio stations can broadcast both terrestrially on FM and AM, and over the internet.

We broadcast on 103.5FM (in Craven), 102FM (in Ilkley and Wharfedale) and DAB+ (in Bradford)(and East Lancashire).

Get involved...

Drystone Radio is your community radio station. It needs you, and volunteers like you. If you are interested in getting involved in whatever way, shape or form, get in touch via email@drystoneradio.com.

Drystone Radio is a charity, operating for the benefit of the community and the people who live here. Our fundraising efforts help to support our broadcasting, as well as other ventures such as our brand new Training Scheme for those looking to learn about radio and broadcasting.

As a not-for-profit all money we raise is invested back into the radio station and helps both support our day-to-day operations as well as ongoing upgrades, projects and improvements.
