Radio in the UK is regulated by law, by the Office for Communications (Ofcom), and we are committed to ensuring total compliance with the requirements of our licence. Programming

Drystone Radio is for the people of South Craven and Wharfedale. It is an independent voice broadcasting to the diverse groups within the whole community. It provides a platform for local groups, stimulates local initiatives and promotes the harmonisation of new and established residents by involving them in all aspects of running the station.

We engage the community with a wide and varied array of programming content; local news, sports, travel news, weather, specialist music and locally focused shows to name but a few. All programmes are delivered in English.

All broadcasting is done locally from our studios in Cowling with the exception of Outside Broadcasts from time to time. For details of our programming, please see the Schedule page.
